Carrot Papaya Pickle Recipe, Easy Carrot Papaya Pickle Recipes
Carrot papaya pickle recipe is an East Indian (Mumbai) recipe.We East Indian prepare this carrot papaya pickle recipe during special day like wedding. This pickle can be made any time because this pickle helps digestion.So go ahead and try this recipe very healthy version of pickle.
Ingredient:
- 250 gm carrots
- 1 small papaya (raw)
- 2"fresh turmeric
- 100 gm green chilies (Bhawnagri)
- 2 pods garlic flakes (whole)
- 25 gm turmeric pd
- 100 gm mustard seeds (pounded or crushed coarsely)
- 1/2 cup synthetic vinegar (or as per taste)
Method:
1.Slice the carrots,papaya and turmeric.
2.Apply salt and let the ingredients dry in sun for few hours.
3.Put the chilies and garlic in the vinegar.
4.Then mix the above with turmeric pd and crushed mustard seeds.
5.Store in a jar.
Notes:
1.Here vinegar helps as the agent of preservative.
2.There is no oil so it is again health conscious recipe.
3.Container used to store should be completely dry no moisture should be presence and also see that it should be airtight or pickle will get fungus.
4.This pickle contain carrots good for eyes, papaya good for digestion, turmeric fresh and also powdered good agent for antibiotic.
