Chole Bhature recipe is from North India. It is the traditional dish from Pun jab, a heavy breakfast generally accompained with lassie.  Chole means chana masala cooked with kabuli chana or chickpeas blended with ingredients like onion, tomatoes, ginger/garlic paste, whole and dried spices, amchur (mango) powder or anar (pomegranate) powder and garam masala powder. Bhature is a dough includes white flour (maida), yoghurt (curd),oil, baking powder and salt kneaded well and left to rise, then small lemon size dough is dusted in flour and flatten using chapati roller, then deep fried until they are puffed and lightly browned. I have substitute white flour to wheat flour.  Chole Bhature recipe can be prepared as snacks or meal. It is very delicious and served with pickle and salad.  We find this Chole Bhature in our Indian restaurants as well as on street vendors preparing as street food or snack.
