 Xacuti or Xacutti is a curry prepared in Goa, India, with complex spicing, including white poppy seeds, sliced or grated coconut and  dried red chillies. It is usually prepared with chicken or lamb. Chicken Xacuti Recipe is a delicious chicken curry from Goa, is served along with pav. You can serve it along with rice instead, which makes an equally good combination.   Surmai is one of the most popular sea fish varieties in the country. The fish is known for being an almost smell-less fish with a single bone. Ingredients: 250 gm  Surmai fish (cut into pieces and washed) 1 tsp salt 2 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 lemon juice  3 tbsp semolina  2 tbsp cooking oil for fry Coriander leaves for garnishing Method: Marinate fish for an hour (surmai fish, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and lemon juice). Roll it in semolina. Heat oil on nonstick pan, fry marinated fish pieces in heated oil, fry pieces from all the sides. It will take 10 minutes to fry.  Easy and authentic prawns curry recipe with flavors of coconut and fresh herbs, raw mango along with Malvani masala. Spicy and tangy prawns curry quick and easy recipe. Ingredients: Prawns 15nos (cleaned and washed) raw mango 1 small onion chopped 1 small curry leaves one sprig malvani masala 2 tbsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp Paste: coconut fresh grated 8 tbsp coriander leaves 6 strings ginger 1" garlic 7 cloves tomato 1 medium  oil 1 tsp water as required for gravy Salt as per taste  Method: Put oil in vessel, when hot add curry leaves and chopped onion stir till translucent.  Add paste, malvani masala, turmeric powder.  Add water and cook the masala for five minutes.  Add prawns and cook for three to five minutes.  Add water as per required consistency and salt as per taste. Cover and cooked, ready to serve. Ingredients: 200 gm murmura/kurmura 50 gm farsan + 1 tbsp roasted peanuts 50 gm nylon sev 1 chopped onion 1 chopped tomato 1 tsp coriander leaves  1 tsp lemon juice  1/2 tsp red chilli powder  2 tsp chat masala powder  1 tbsp tomato ketchup  Salt pinch Method: In a mixing bowl add murmura , add tomato ketchup, mix well. Add farsan, red chilli powder, chat masala powder, salt. Now add chopped onion, tomato and coriander leaves.  Add lemon juice,  nylon sev. Ready to serve.  Note: If murmura is soft then dry roast it in pan for few minutes it becomes crisp.  Add salt, spice as per taste. Methi Bombil Recipe is very easy, quick and tasty recipe. Can be prepared at lunch or dinner as side dish. It is blend of small methi, dry bombil (Bombay duck), onion, tomato, potato and few spices. Ingredients: 2 big onions 1 tomato I potato  10 bunches of small methi 3 green chillies  1/2 tsp turmeric  Salt to taste 3 tbsp oil 10 dry bombil (Bombay duck) Method: In pan add oil, when hot add sliced onion saute till translucent.  Add dry bomil saute on high flame for two minutes. Add potato cook till 80%. Now add chopped green chillies, chopped tomato, turmeric powder,  chopped methi, salt as per taste.  Cover and cook till all cooked. Ready to serve.
