Bhindi Bhaji Or Bhindi Sabzi Recipe, How To Make Bhindi Bhaji Recipe

Bhindi Sabzi recipe is one of versatile sabzi we can prepare gravy, crispy, suka with this veggie. I will be giving various varieties recipes of bhindi.Today I have given the yummy and chat-pat recipe from bhindi. This is suka sabzi eaten with chapati or bread.

Preparation Time:10 minutes
Cooking Time:10 minutes
Serves:3-4

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm bhindi (okra,lady finger)
  • 1 tsp mustard seed (rai)
  • 1 tsp cumin seed (jeera)
  • 2 tsp mix masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric pd
  • salt to taste
  • 4 nos kokum
  • 6 nos curry leaves
  • 4 tbsp oil
  •  pinch asafoetida

Method:

1.Wash the bhindi and wipe it with napkin thoroughly and ensure it must not stick cut the bhindi to long slit.
2.In a pan put oil when hot add mustard seed,when crackles add cumin seeds curry leaves,asafoetida mix masala,turmeric pd,slit bhindi and salt.
3.All mix nicely add kokum stir once and cook on slow flame and gradually keep stiring.
4.Bhindi is cooked it leaves the sides ready to serve.

Notes:
1.To avoid the bhindi sabzi from getting sticky add kokum, kokum removes all stickiness from bhindi.  
2.Do not cover the bhindi or the vapor makes the bhindi sabzi sticky.
