Pork Curry Recipe, Easy Pork Curry Recipe

Pork curry recipe prepared has a tangy and spicy taste. It is blended with whole red dried chillies including combination of spices or herbs with vinegar.

It is very delicious and easy to prepare. One can prepare this dish in gravy or dry form avoiding coconut while travelling. It can be preserved for 1-2 days because it contain vinegar.

It is yummy dish served with hot steam rice, pav or rotis.

Step By Step Method:


1. Take a pan add pork small pieces, add cubed onion, chopped garlic, chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, oil and then switch on the flame.

2. Mix all the ingredients well.

3. Now add the sliced ginger and slit green chillies and stir well.

4. Now keep stiring till meat.

5. Stir till the pork meat is half cooked.

6. Now add the paste.

7. Pour a cup of water to mixer jar and add to the meat, adjust the consistency of water for gravy.

8. Stir all well till the pork meat and the masala are merged together well.

9. Add salt give a quick stir, boil it nicely, then simmer and cook on slow flame till pork meat is done. Keep stiring in middle.

10. At last add vinegar and stir well and switch off the flame.

11. Pork curry is ready to serve.

12. Serve the pork curry with hot steam rice.

Ingredients:
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1" ginger sliced
  • 7 flakes garlic
  • 3 green chillies slit
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 strig curry leaves
  • 750 gm pork meat
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup water or as required for gravy
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
To make paste:
  • 10-12 whole red chillies (Kashmiri)
  • 1 small lemon size tamarind
  • 1 tbsp coriander seed
  • 4 cloves
  • 1" cinnamon
  • 6 black peppers
  • 1 tbsp poppy seed
  • 1 tbsp sesame seed
  • 5 tbsp fresh grated coconut
Method:
  1. In a pan put small pieces of pork chopped ( wash the pork under running water for 3-4 time thoroughly), add cubed onion, chopped garlic, chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves mix and on the flame.
  2. Now add ginger sliced and slit green chillies.
  3. Stir till meat changes it colour and meat is half done.
  4. Now add the paste and stir well add water in mixer jar and add to meat.
  5. Mix all well till the meat and spice are merged together.
  6. Add salt take a nice boil and slow the flame and simmer and cook till meat is done.
  7. Add vinegar at last give a quick stir and off the flame.
  8. Pork curry recipe is ready to serve.
Notes:
  • Can add cubed potatoes.
  • Can add any one tamarind or vinegar, I have added both.
  • I have used Kashmiri chillies because it is not spicy, can add bedgi or any chilli of your choice.
  • Can avoid coconut.
  • This dish can be prepared in dry form by adding very little water.
