Green Mutton Curry Recipe Or Hara Masala Ghosh Recipe, Easy Green Mutton Curry Recipe.
Green mutton curry recipe or Hara masala ghost recipe is a yummy meal served with steam or jeera rice, nans or rotis.
It is a full meal blended with green herbs or green masala and mild spices. Can substitute mutton to chicken it is equally tasty and delicious.
This dish is not having coconut, curd or cashews, it has simple ingredients
available in kitchen and yet is yummy.
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 40 minutes
Serves: 3-4
2. Add caraway seed, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, bay leaves.
3. Add the onion, ginger, garlic, chilli paste.
4. Cook till oil separates.
5. Make paste of mint leaves, coriander leaves and tomato.
6. Add the paste of tomato.
7. Again cook till the oil separates.
8. Now add the garam masala powder.
9. Add the mutton to it.
10. Stir the meat till colour changes, stir for seven minutes.
11. Now add one cup water or as required for gravy, add salt cover and cook the meat and stir in middle, cook till meat is done it may take 20-25 minutes to cook the meat.
12. Add the fresh cream give a quick stir and cover and cook for five minutes.
13. Curry is ready to serve.

Step By Step Method.
1. Add oil in a pan and let it become hot.2. Add caraway seed, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, bay leaves.
3. Add the onion, ginger, garlic, chilli paste.
4. Cook till oil separates.

6. Add the paste of tomato.

- 500 gm mutton
- 2 medium onion
- 1" ginger
- 7 flakes garlic
- 1 medium tomato
- 4 green chillies
- 1/4 cup mint leaves (pudina)
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp garam masala powder
- 7 tbsp oil
- 4 black pepper
- 3 cloves
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 tsp caraway seed
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup water
- salt to taste
- Heat oil in a pan, when hot add caraway seed, cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, bay leaves.
- Now add the paste of onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Sauté till oil separates.
- Add the mint leaves,coriander leaves, tomato paste cook again till oil separates.
- Add garam masala powder give a quick stir and add the meat sauté for a while add salt.
- Add one cup water or as required take a boil.
- Then put lid and let it simmer, cook till the meat is done.
- Add cream stir, again cook for five minutes and off the flame.
- Green mutton recipe curry is ready to serve.
- Serve with hot steam rice.
Notes:
- If we substitute mutton to chicken then the dish is ready soon because chicken cooks faster.
- Can add potatoes.
