Pan Roll Recipe, How To Make Pan Roll

Pan rolls recipe is a roll stuffed with kheema and blend of spices, wrapped in a fluffy crepe crumbled and lightly fried. My family loves this rolls, which is why they're requested often and it is impossible to eat only one. Kheema can be used any of your choice like mutton, beef, chicken. Vegetarian can also enjoy this recipe by omitting the kheema and option is veggies like cauliflower, carrots, green peas, potato, paneer. It is worth making.

Ingredients:

For pancakes:
  • 2 cups refined flour
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp oil
Method:
  • Mix the above ingredients together, adding water and oil gradually till the mixture is free of lumps.
  • Leave aside for half an hour.
  • Grease a non-stick pan with oil.
  • Put in a ladleful of batter in the middle of the pan.
  • Swirl the pan around so that the batter coats the pan.
  • When the pancake is cooked flip it onto a plate.
  • Repeat until a few spoonfuls of the batter are left.
  • Keep it aside.
For Filling:
  •       1/2 kg chicken mince
  •     2 large onions chopped
  •     1"ginger chopped
  •     6 flakes garlic chopped
  •     4 green chilies
  •     1 tomato chopped
  •     1 tbsp lemon juice
  •     1 tbsp mint leaves chopped
  •     1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  •     1 tbsp oil
  •     salt to taste
  •     pinch garam masala
Method to make filling:
  1. Heat oil add all the chopped ingredients one by one and fry it nicely till light brown.
  2. Now add the chicken mince,salt and garam masala, 1/2 cup water and lemon juice.
  3. Cook till the mixture is dry.
  4. When mixture is dry off the gas and keep the mixture in side to let it cool. 
Method to make pan roll:
  1. Take the pancake, flipped part on the top, place one tablespoon of the filling at one end, turn in the sides and roll pancake firmly.
  2. Apply the batter to each folded ends.
  3. Roll in bread crumbs and shallow fry until golden brown.
