Soya (Nutrela) aloo mutter recipe is a very delicious veggie prepared from soybean, aloo and mutter (green peas).This dish is substitute to meat.Soybean is a great way of adding Protein to your diet. Serves:4-5
Ingredients:
- 100 gm soya chunks
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 2 small potatoes
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 chop tomato
- 3 tsp mix masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric pd
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seed
To make Paste:
- 5 tbsp fresh grated coconut
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2" ginger
- 3 stem coriander leaves
- 1 green chilly
Method:
1.In a pan add oil when hot add mustard seed when crackled add chop onion saute it when pink add tomato cook till oil separate.
2.Add potato and soya chunks and cover and cook five minutes.
3.Add mix masala,turmeric pd and paste all stir add green peas and water as required for gravy at list one cup add salt give once boil and cover and cook for 7 minutes or as required till all done.
4.Serve it with rice or chapati
Notes:
1.Soak the soya chunks for one hour then squeeze the water nicely from chunks and use it.
2.If frozen peas are used then add it at the end because it does not take much time to cook.
3.If mix masala is not available then we get various masalas in market one can use it or watch my blog for mix masala recipe.
4.Here mustard seed (rai) and tomato is option.
