Fresh Bombil (Bombay Duck Curry) Recipe, Easy Method To Make Bombil curry
This is one of the yummy dish which I eat with hot steam rice and fish fry. It is zanzanit recipe means spicy and tangy. It is an East Indian coolie recipe. I hope you'll may relish it by making this recipe. It is easy and quick recipe.
Cooking Time:10 minutes
Serve:4-5
Ingredient:
- 1 small onion chop
- 4 garlic flakes chop
- 2 tsp mix masala
- 1/4 tsp turmeric pd
- 4 nos kokum
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
- 1 small cup water (or add as you want for gravy)
- 9-10 Bombay duck or bombil (Clean wash add little salt and keep)
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves
- 1/2 fresh coconut grated
- 1 green chilly
- 4 stem coriander leaves
- 1/2"ginger
1.In a pan put oil when hot add add chop onion sauté till pink.
2.Now add chop garlic.
3.When fried add mix masala and turmeric pd
4.Add the paste to it sauté masala oil comes out.
5.Now add the paste stir nicely add 1 small cup water or as required.
6.Now boil the gravy when nicely boiled add kokum.
7.And finally bombils and salt as taste.
8.Take a boil slow the flame for seven mins.
9.Add coriander leaves off the gas.
10.Serve with rice bhakari or hot steam rice.
Note:
1.This recipe require little more oil because it give nice fiery look which is known as tari.
2.After adding Bombay duck do not add spoon till it cook or the bombil will break.
3.After cleaning and washing fish use vinegar to wash your hand it helps the fishy smell to come out or it prevents the fishy smell.
