Lemon Rice Recipe, How To Make Lemon Rice Recipe

                  

 Lemon rice recipe is a tangy flavor recipe which can be served with any type of veggie or chutney and it is really very tasty. It can be prepared with left over rice.  I have modified this recipe by adding tomatoes it is option if you don't like tomato then do not add use only lime juice and prepare.

Ingredient

  • 1 cup boiled rice
  • 1 small chop onion
  • 2 medium chop tomatoes
  • 1 small tsp mustard seed (rai) 
  • 1 small tsp cumin seed (jeera)
  • pinch asafoetida (hing)
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves chop
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric pd (haldi pd)
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 green chilies chop
  • 1/2 small lime juice 

Method  

1.In kadai put oil when hot add mustard seeds 
2.When crackles add cumin seeds 
3.Now add onion chop fry till pinkish
4.Then chop tomatoes and green chilies and fry till oil comes out
5.Now add turmeric pd,cooked rice sprinkle little water, add lime juice, and salt  cover and cook for five minutes then give a nice stir and serve by garnishing coriander leaves.

Note:

  1. Do not use overcooked rice.
  2. Lime use 1/2 or less then half or rice will not give proper flavor and don't forget we have added tomato.
