Clam Curry Recipe, How To Make Clam Curry Recipe
Clam curry is simple and yum meal recipe. Clams are also known as Shivale or Tisraya. The soft meat inside the shell is used in varieties of dishes.
It is the blend of few ingredients fresh grated coconut, coriander seeds, kokum, onion, tomatoes.... potatoes are also added for this recipe.

Ingredients :
- 1/2 kg Clams
- 1 no onion chopped
- 1 no tomato chopped
- 2 nos kokum
- few sprigs of coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
- 7 tbsp fresh grated coconut
- 7 nos red whole chillies (bedgi)
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2" cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 6 nos cloves
- In a pan add oil, when hot add chop onion saute it till pinkish.
- Add chop tomatoes saute for five minutes.
- Now add the Clams saute and then add the ground paste, nicely stir add one cup water, kokum and salt to taste.
- When curry boils, simmer the curry on slow flame for more five minutes.
- Garnish chop coriander leaves and serve.
- Wash the Clams thoroughly, then put the Clams in one cup or as required boiling water and boil it for seven minutes, turn of the flame and let the Clams remain in water for some time. The shells open in the hot water.
- Now discard the empty shell and separate the shell with meat.
- Strain the boiled shell water and use this stock for curry.
- After washing fish or chopping onion the smell remain, use vinegar, rub it on the palm.
