Soya Chunk Pulao, Easy Way To Make Soya Chunk Pulao
Soya bean is a source of Protein. Soya bean pulao is the best source of protein, one meal, easy and quick to cook also very healthy and nutritious.
I have prepared the soya pulao in cooker, adding ghee, fresh vegetables and blended with mild spices.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Now add the paste and fry till oil leaves the side
Add the Maggie cubes and sauté
Add the cubed carrots and sauté
Add the garam masala powder and the turmeric powder
Add the rice and the salt
Now add the water
Serve hot.

Step By Step Method:
Add ghee in cooker, now after one minute add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon
Now add the paste and fry till oil leaves the side
Add the Maggie cubes and sauté
Add the chop tomato and cook it for five minutes
Add the cubed carrots and sauté
Add the cubed potato stir well
Now add the soya chunks stir nicely
Add the garam masala powder and the turmeric powder
Add the rice and the salt
Now add the water
Cover the cooker lid and take four whistle
Serve hot.
Ingredients:
- 2 nos bay leaves
- 4 cloves
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 2 green cardamon
- 6 nos black pepper
- 2 veg Maggie cube
- 1/2 fine cube carrot
- 1 no potato cubed
- 1 no tomato cubed
- 1 cup long grain rice (basamati rice)
- 1/4 cup soya chunks (soaked in water for half hour)
- 2 cups water
- 4 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 big onion
- 2 green chillies
- 1" ginger
- 6 cloves garlic
- 2 stem coriander leaves
- In a cooker add ghee, let it get heated for one minute.
- Add to it bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, cardamon and black pepper.
- Now add to it the paste and keep stirring till oil leaves the side.
- Add to it Maggie cubes and stir well.
- Now add cubed tomatoes and cook for two minutes.
- Add to it carrots, potato and the soya stir well.
- Add garam masala powder and turmeric powder.
- Stir well and now add the rice, salt and the water.
- Cover the cooker lid and take four whistle.
- Serve hot with papad and pickle.
- Soak the soya chunks for half hour and squeeze the water nicely then add to the pulao.
- Soak the rice also for half hour.
- Use hot water to add to rice while cooking.
- Can use green peas also.
- Boil one glass drinking water add to it half teaspoon turmeric powder, half inch grated ginger and half teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain) boil till water is reduced to half. This will help to keep one's immunity system strong and thereby avoid common cold, flu and other infections.
