Clam curry is simple and yum meal recipe. Clams are also known as Shivale or Tisraya. The soft meat inside the shell is used in varieties of dishes. It is the blend of few ingredients fresh grated coconut, coriander seeds, kokum, onion, tomatoes.... potatoes are also added for this recipe. Preparation Time : 15 minutes Cooking Time : 10 minutes Serves : 3-4 Ingredients : 1/2 kg Clams 1 no onion chopped 1 no tomato chopped 2 nos kokum few sprigs of coriander leaves 1 tbsp oil salt to taste To make paste : 7 tbsp fresh grated coconut 7 nos red whole chillies (bedgi) 1 tbsp coriander seeds 2 garlic cloves 1/2" cinnamon stick 1 tsp black pepper 6 nos cloves Method : In a pan add oil, when hot add chop onion saute it till pinkish. Add chop tomatoes saute for five minutes. Now add the Clams saute and then add the ground paste, nicely stir add one cup water, kokum and salt to taste. When curry boils, simmer the curry on slow flame for more five minutes....
