Malvani Mutton Recipe, Easy Malvani Mutton Recipe


Malwani is specialized  for ‘Fish’ as it is situated on coastal area and along with fish it is also popular for ‘Mutton’ and ‘Chicken’. Hence my friend I will be teaching all the authentic cuisine of Malwani recipe like fish, mutton, chicken in easy but authentic taste.I will be giving ‘Malwani masala’ recipe very soon so it will give  your dish also same taste and flavour as to my and those like Malvan. I will start my Malvani dish with yummy mouth watering dish ‘Malvani Mutton’. This  is an authentic dish of Malwani. Today I will share this dish with you”ll my friend.I usually prepare this dish on Sunday and my hubby and children enjoy this meal and  I am sure you my friend’s will to enjoy this dish and enjoy your Sunday along with your family or friends.Here goes the recipe.

   
Step by Step method. 
1.Put oil add add cardamon,cinnamon and cloves

2.Now add chop onions and fry till colour is pink. Now add tomatoes and cook it.

3.Now make a paste of green chillies,coriander leaves,mint leaves,ginger and garlic paste adding little water.

4.Add garlic,ginger,green chillies,coriander leaves,mint leaves,cloves,cinnamon add little water make paste.

5.Add this green paste and fry.

6.Roast the onion and coconut in a pan and make a paste.

7.Add onion coconut paste.

8.Add malwani masala and turmeric pd.

9.Wash the meat and add to the masala. Cover and cook for half hour till 85% cooked.

10.Now add cubed potato and one full glass of water or as required for gravy.Cook till potato and meat is done and serve.

Ingredient for the white paste:

  • 1 small onion cube
  • 1 bowl fresh grated coconut (10tbsp full).

Ingredient for the green paste:

  • 1.6 sprigs of coriander leaves
  • 2. 3 string of mint  leaves
  • 3. 2 green chillies
  • 4. 12 cloves of garlic
  • 5. 1″ginger
  • 6. 2 cloves
  • 7. 1 small stick cinnamon
  • 8. 2 green cardamon
Tempering:


  • 1/2 kg mutton
  • 2 onion chop
  • 2 potatoes cubed
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 8 curry leaves
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 small cinnamon
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Malwani masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric

Method.

1.Heat oil add cloves,cinnamon,curry leaves when crackles.
2.Add chop onion fry till pink. Now add tomatoes fry till cook.
3.Now add green paste and the white paste, then add the Malwani masala, turmeric pd  fry nicely till oil leaves the side.
4.Add the wash mutton sprinkle water  fry till  colour changes.
5. Now add 1 cup water or as required for gravy bring it to boil and then cook on slow flame by putting lid and water on top of the lid for  about 25 mins or till mutton is 80% done.
6.Now add potatoes and salt as required and again cover and cook till the potatoes are cooked.
7.Now sprinkle a pinch of garam masala and switch off the gas. Sprinkle with coriander leaves.
8.Serve with steam rice and salad .




Note:Keep stirring in middle.
